This Kid's Course Was Born Because Of Broken Educational Systems...

The world these days changes fast…

Understanding how business and finances REALLY work is the key to success in today's fast-paced society.

Giving our kids the skills to be successful and resilient with rise in cost of living is so important, more now than ever.

Living in a world run by corporations with their own agendas.

Most schools train our kids to become compliant workers, not thinking for themselves.

These traditional methods alone are not properly preparing kids for the real world.

Kids don’t know how the world works...

Convinced to buy or do things that may not be true to who they are, or are in their best interest...

But if they know how a business works, they'll know how the world works.

If they know what marketing is, they may not be so easily persuaded.

Entrepreneurship drives awareness and personal growth.

It will inspire your kid to think with abundance, to discover what’s possible for them, level up to reach their goals, and give them purpose.

Entrepreneurship promotes happier, healthier and more resilient people.

Sometimes it’s taught in high school but teachers don't have any entrepreneurial experience...

Would you put your kid in driving lessons with someone who doesn’t know how to drive?

No, you wouldn't.
And as parents, we can’t teach our kids everything… because we’re just one person and we don’t know everything. And that's okay.

That’s why community is important. It takes a village.

Which is exactly what the After School Entrepreneurs Community provides for kids, teens and parents.

Kids are SO capable. They just need someone to believe in them. Someone to guide them.
Now is the time for them to learn these skills so they’re thriving in their 20’s and 30’s and not struggling later in life.

With our support, they can have the success and freedom I enjoy now (at age 30) by the time they're 17.

Whatever passions I've had, or problems I see... I turn it into my next adventure and do what I love, while trying to make the world a better place.

Here's What Real People Say After Working With Us...

Here's a video with some of my favourite student wins. With over 20,000 students there are too many to count but these stand out!
                                      We don't just teach it...

                                      We do it ourselves.

So many educators out there preach about entrepreneurship but have never actually been in the trenches and made it out the other side... let alone simplified it for kids!
These are a few of the facilitators that make up our well-rounded team:

                                      Jaymie Friesen

Jaymie started his first business at 13 years old and has since started up, managed, or acquired more than 11 ventures at the age of 30 ranging from manufacturing and e-commerce to services and real estate. He has operated businesses with teams in 4 countries and sold worldwide. At heart, entrepreneurship is his tool of self expression. Jaymie is a purpose-driven entrepreneur, bringing ideas to life that bring meaning to himself, those around him, and to help the world. His greatest excitement is seeing others believe in themselves.

                                      Morgan Gordon

Morgan was an accredited school teacher for over 10 years, turned homeschool mom of her 3 wild and beautiful daughters. She is passionate about education but found herself spending most of her time as a teacher babysitting, trying to stay sane, and feeding the kids who came so often without lunches. She was burnt out and believed in a better system. Her eldest daughter Ellie was the inspiration for this program and it's first student. Morgan gives a teachers and mothers-touch to our programs so they're the best experience for your kids.

                                      Conar Fair

Conar and Jaymie grew up together, starting a landscaping company and clothing brand in their teens where Conar first picked up a camera because they couldn't afford a professional photographer. He went on to become one of the most sought-after content creators in the world working with brands like Expedia, Fairmont, Marriott, John Deere, and many more. He has changed the lives of over 70,000 students around the globe with his courses, is one of the happiest most positive people you'll ever meet, and invests in boutique resorts in his spare time.

What ages is this good for?

We say ages 6-17+ but we've had kids as young as 6 years old do it, they may just need a little more help. Every kid is different. You know your kid best, so you decide.

The way we see it... it's never too young. Kids soak in information like a sponge, even when they may seem distracted or like they're not getting it. Their brains can pick up on that information later in life.

We've also had plenty of adults in their 30's, 40's and 50's do it alongside their kids, who have always wanted to start a business, or even as a refresher. So you're never too old either!

How long does it take to complete the course?

Each lesson is designed to take an average of 25 minutes - short and sweet to keep kids engaged.

Many students do 1 lesson per week, but some choose to do 2 or 3 lessons per week, or even 1 per day.

Your pace is up to you.

The overall length of the course can be never ending just like a business. There's always more to learn.

It's broken up into 3 sections with the following # of sessions:

                                          1. Ideas and planning your business (11 activities)
                                          2. Launching your business (7 activities)
                                          3. Managing and growing your business (7 activities)

Most kids create their product or service in 1 month, and launch their business in 2 months.

But new activities/lessons are added all the time. There are limitless lessons when it comes to managing and growing your business.

And remember - businesses don't always work. We learn by doing, and by failing. Here, we celebrate our fails, it's a good thing! It's how we learn!

So kids may choose to try something else, and restart the process.

That's why this is a community. We're not going to stop and leave you hanging. We're in this with you for as long as you want!

What tools or supplies do I need for the course?

                                      For Kids:

                                      1. A notebook or some paper

                                      2. Pencil and eraser

                                      3. Pencil crayons or something to colour with

                                      4. A phone or computer to look things up together (example, how much my product or service sells for)

                                      5. A printer to print the worksheets, or print them all at once at a printing shop

Is it self-guided or do I need to help my kid?

For kids 7-10 (or under) a parent, helper, or older sibling is needed to help explain things, ask basic questions and keep them on task.

We prefer this over an automated iPad learning experience. It's brief 25 minute sessions to bond with your kid and they get real world experience.

For kids 11-12 they can do it on their own with supervision for help if they have questions.

For teens 13-17 they can do it completely self-guided, but you're welcome to join them and do it together too!

What days and times are live sessions at?

We offer live help sessions every second Friday between the hours of 3pm-7pm PST.

If you have a preferred time outside of these hours let us know and we'll accommodate as soon as we can.

Eventually we plan to have session times available every day and all daylight hours so that it's easy for everyone to get access anytime you need.
